COMMUNITY MOBILISATION
SVA Line
We actively engage grassroots organisations, youth groups, and academic institutions through forums such as the African Universities Gender Equality Forum (AUGEF), ensuring that advocacy efforts are inclusive and representative of marginalised voices.

WHY WE ADVOCATE

We believe that gender equality is not only a moral imperative but also an economic driver. Research, including our 2022 "The Costly Impact of GBV" report, has shown that gender-based violence significantly impacts workplace productivity and economic growth.

OUR ADVOCACY EFFORTS AIM TO:
Point

Influence policy and legislative frameworks that protect women and marginalised groups.

Point

Hold corporations accountable for creating safe and equitable workplaces.

Point

Challenge harmful gender norms and societal biases that perpetuate discrimination.

Point

Ensure survivors of GBV have access to support systems and justice.

Through our advocacy, we envision a future where every individual—regardless of gender—can thrive in a safe, inclusive, and equitable society.
